Sweet Baby
By Handsum-Hart

Call me anything
But your sweet baby
I will not give an ear
To your lips
To whisper
This cute nickname in

Until you first carry
The dry cry
Of my lonely voice
Inside your songful heart
For 9 musical months

Then birth my cry anew
As a cradlesong
That puts you to sleep
While being gently rocked
In my lady-pleasing arms
Sending you
Into dreams of sweetness
Sweeter than the starchy roots
Of wild sweet potato vines

Now I shall whisper
My sweet baby
Into your ear
Each time I sing you
Into the field of dreams
With the cradlesong
Birthed to me
From your songful heart

Ron I echo the others here and say that this very romantic, very sweet, and very touching. I have such a place in my heart for words such as these. But, then I only wish that a man would call me his Sweet Baby, with his songful heart. Eileen said that you have a wonderful gift. Not only do you have a wonderful gift with words, but a unique gift, because it can make my sad heart, very glad, if only for a few moments. Thnx brother for sharing these wonderful sentiments. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubbron to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little terrified sister, Barbie

This is so beautiful and well written, Handsum. It has sort of a southern feel to it.
