The Last Love Letter,
You Will Ever Read
Charming Lady,
I admire your persistence
but have not I asked you,
to quit leaving scented stationery
in my briefcase
Asking me to send you
a letter of love
This I shan’t do
Except I can write it
on my heart
and spray it,
with the natural fragrance
of my endless love
Then fold it in two,
seal it with a lick of fidelity,
stamp it with an everlasting kiss
and have Cupid
special deliver my heart unto you
On Valentines Day,
as The Last Love Letter
You Will Ever Read
