He Gift-Wrapped Her Heart
In Sheets Of Soft Affection
By Handsum-Hart

He plucked her heartstrings
As if he was playing a musical harp
And with gentle song
Wooed her into the manly magic
Of his cuddles and snuggles
Making departure from his arms
An unthinkable act

She became his romantic Sabbath
And each day he romanced her
From sun-fall
To the falling of a new sun

On Valentines Day
In a red-letter moment
Of truth and tenderness
His love gently took
Her heart’s virginity
And laid down with it
In his soul
Making a vow unbreakable
To warmly caress it forever

As she shivered with excitement
His romantic little whatchamacallits
Love-cuffed
And held her passion prisoner
While he gift-wrapped her heart
In sheets of soft affection
Topped with a bow of fidelity
Then gave her beautiful heart
To himself
As his forevermore
Valentines Day gift

I absolutely love the title and how it weaves into the poem. There is no greater gift to one's self than love given. Wonderful write!
