There was a time Asa when I knew this feeling. Since I "Got Out" I have had undescribeable peace. The truth came when I saw it for what I believed it to be, only to find it a pandora's box of wills....
...sometimes the art of forgiving over and over does this in the narcissistic personality of one... it is hard to do..Get Out!

Seems we all carry some personal residue that, as you say, "get out" is a necessary demand.

I know this came from deep inside and that it takes a lot of courage to expose your soul....Very well done, Asa! We ALL drag around useless baggage from the past...but sooner or later we MUST lighten the load and leave that stuff where it belongs....it will always be part of us but it doesn't need to define who we are..

Our internal baggage is always the hardest to deal with, whatever it's content. My personal method is to mentally put it all into a sturdy box and place it on the highest shelf of the mind - so high that it takes real effort to access it (like putting old toys away in the attic of a very tall house)- then throw away the steps that got it there. I find that, although I occasionally remember the existence of the box, it serves to remind me that these are things I no longer need or want.
