Losing sight of who we are Keep up with what's going on Follow your own special star Happiness lies there Try to be who you are not Living far outside your skin Only puts you on the spot That's like man no where Walk your own path they'll walk theirs Dif'rent drummers they do hear New ideas and brand new cares If need be "be there" Sure we share experience They will take and leave the rest On the sidelines stay we hence Praising when they pass life's test Jane Noponen Perinacci

There is no doubt..."different drummers they do hear" but we do indeed make good cheerleaders from the sidelines and they admire us for being there...I love this one, Jane!

The title and the body don't seem to match. On the other hand, I love the line, "that's like man nowhere." A blast from the past!

It doesn't get more real and honest than the words in this poem, Jane. A blueprint of love for those who may be struggling and a fortress strong when they are floundering. I love this poem.
