The gift is meant to bless others; It's an anointing

Poem Artwork

The calling is/
sacred/
consecrated/
it whispers/
internally/
relentlessly/
as it did/
in the womb/
where He formed you/
before the womb/
where He foreknew you/
it is/
attached to the sinews of your flesh/
inextricably/
commingled with the vapors of your soul/
indistinguishably/
and like a fire/
searing/
consuming/
enlightening/
it burdens your heart/
her summons is irresistible/
as it was predestined to be/
from the expanse of eternity/
from whence He called you/
to be/
poet

I loved this poem. It's an uplifting, positive prayer poem and more are needed like this one in this negative world we live in today!

Peace, love and blessings be with you,

John Michael

"it burdens your heart'... indeed it can. what we are called to accomplish for the Most High is like a 'fire in the bones'. But it can also be as a field that flourishes and then lies fallow for a season. Your thoughts here are fully considered and flow like a pure stream. rlc
