Before I had a puter
I had a putter
The sun was in my face
And the wind was in my hair
Now that I got a puter
I’m stuck in my chair
I used to get phone calls
And could talk to real people
But now all I get is voice mails
From people I donno.
How I wish for the good old days
When neighbors would talk over the fence.
Instead of an e-mail asking for pence.
It’s a wondrous age of telecommunication
But, really, I’d rather go on vacation
