Beyond Homelessness

these words are dedicated 

to those whose lives are spent in

pursuit of the very things we

take for granted

food shelter and 

medical care


may we all join hearts

and hands in ushering in

the day when 

homelessness is history


when every man woman 

and child has food

shelter and medical care 

restoring their human dignity


the day the homeless 

are no more

this nation will become

a great nation

one who cared

for those ubable

to care

for themselves
