May we all pray

for the homeless

dying in 

the cold tonight


And may we 

be shown 

a way

to open our

hearts and arms

to the needs

of our brothers 

and sisters 

on the streets


It is only thru 

our loving hands

that food shelter and clothing

can provide

what they need

to stay alive


Our tender love

shared thru 

blankets soks

and warm mittens

may be 

the last memory

a homeless person has


May we all pray

for the homeless

dying in 

the cold tonight
