Equality does not exist

Adversity is a Wake-up Call

Life is An Ocean

One Second Calm

Next a Storm

Like undercurrents

in the sea

If all is smooth

The spirit

in you and me Sleeps

Awakening is frightening

exciting freeing

and happens to each

in their own time

Being truly

empassioned with life

we embrace

pain joy and peace

struggles hate anger

and fear

as the greatest teachers

of our lives

Change is life
