evolution marches on
leaving the past
like horses
put out to pasture
when cars came in

evolution fury
leaves people
in the dust

noone knows
whose guiding it
constantly pushin us
to grow grow grow

but one thing
we do know
this is
evolutions show

and we
meer extras
on stage
given specific
roles to play

evolutions ruthless
doesnt care if we
want to follow it
