im driven by fears
of a raging virus
hell bent
on destroying lives
hopes and dreams

this virus is
a black evil force
going against all life

as we strive
to be somebody
and leave
the future
a better place
for the newborn
spirits on their way

i name this virus
hell and heaven
an all the inbetween

its awakened me
from my
cinderella dreams
and i despise it with every fiber of my being

we watch listen
wear our masks
like martyrs
forcin a smile
helplessly afraid
the person next to us
is sick
or even worse
we're sick
infected with a disease
hell bent on destroying
our lives

while we in our
utter humaness
try to understand
that this friggin breath may be our last

No No No
i scream
it wont be my last
i will fight
kicking and screaming
for every breath

i weep tears of blood for my fellow brothers and sisters
and shout

KEEP FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS

they are life
they are miracles
your dreams are why
you were born

no virus
can take our dreams
no virus can kill
our need to love
and to be loved

this bloody virus
cannot and will not
take our desires
to climb to the highest mountain tops

i hate this virus
and all the fears
it brings

i am on the path
up the steepest mountain
its the mountain
of my life

im fighting for my life
and that mountains top
is waitin for me
yeah sweet baby
its waitin

an when i reach the top
i will dance sing
an shout
i am bigger then
all the viruses
in the world
my spirit will never ever die

i am bigger then
all the fears
cause you see
i was told by spirit long ago
i was created
for great things
and i believed it

oh yeah i friggin
believed it

and i set out
to open my soul
layin it bare
to share with all
the beauty i see
in you and me

ill meet you on the mountains peak
an together we will
hug one another
and celebrate
our being alive

laughing hugging crying rollin on the ground
living each second 1000% as if
it were our last

virus go take a hike
you will not
get me

mountain tops
beckon my
well worn soul
and i will climb them
