Theoretically, perhaps. Realistically, not. The human brain has remarkable capability of imagining, both what may happen and what probably may never happen.

Alvin Toffler predicted Future Shock. Basically people becoming overwhelmed with new technology and complicated living. So many suffer from it now. Marshall McLuhan predicted the Global Village. With social networking, instead of local gossip creating rumors in small towns, we now have worldwide gossip creating rumors. It's wonderful to be in instant touch with anyone in the world. There is also the danger of it taking all of our time to gossip.
