I heard the plea and went there every weekend when I could for 3 years to soak up all the artistic beauty that lay there. But even then, it was too expensive to rent a decrepit old apartment with expensive parking for my car.

"If you're coming to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. If you're coming to San Francisco, you're gonna find, some gentle people there."

Every time I came back to the Bay, it felt like I was coming home.
