Mother Teresas heartbeats
were for the poorest of the poor
all over earths shores

Through her soul
divine love poured
into those
the world threw out

For those with no home
when the darkest nights
blocked heavens radiant light
Mother Teresa was
holding them in her arms
taking away the fears
of those forgotten and alone

Mother Teresas heartbeats
were for the poorest of the poor

And from inside heavens doors
she prays day and night
to dry the homeless tears
through the hearts
