The Artic Fox is white in winter
Living wild in the country's hinter
Eyes as keen as they could ever be
If you were there he'd certainly see
Stealth and agile aloof and wise
Fixed stare with bright green eyes
But come the spring the coat disappears
Frolicking cubs of brown appear
Gaining crafts and parental approval
Fodder to build for winter's disapproval.
