I looked for many years, through

I searched for someone special,
who would touch this heart of mine.

Then one day I met you, by chance
or perhaps t'was fate.

We walked and talked and then
you asked me, for a dinner date.

Our romance began to blossom, we
were together all the time.

I really liked your children,
and you accepted mine.

Enchantment filled our lives,
happiness was in our hearts.

You asked me to be your wife,
together we'd make a new start.

Many years have come and gone
since those bliss filled days of yore.
