This last week has been kind of hard with a lot of emotional ups and downs

I'm facing each new tomorrow
doing the best I can, hoping
God will hear my prayers and
he will understand.

Time is going quicky by,
as days come and go.
I try to keep my faith,
but it doesn't always show.

Demons of doubt attack my mind,
sometimes its hard to go on.
I face each day with determination
that I will see another dawn.

Life isn't always what we make
it, things do not go as planned.
Sometimes my broken thoughts
are more than I can stand.

I try to face reality with
vision clear and true ,
but then scattered thoughts appear,
I don't always know what to do.

Onward I go with sword and
shield in hand, praying for
eventual salvation in Gods'
promised land.
