Sometimes things in life,
do not go as planned
Sometimes problems are
more than I can stand

With A heavy heart
I go through eacn long day,
knowing full well , my hopes
and dreams have gone astray

As waves come crashing down,
my life is engulfed and torn
I pray for a lull
in the tempest storm

I long for a safe harbor,
a tranquil place in time
Where I can find contentment,
to soothe my weary mind

I open up my heart,
raise my hands to God above
for he alone can fill my life,
with his eternal love

As the raging storm subsides,
my strength is once again renewed
The Lord traveled with me,
His love remains forever true
