Beautiful, Beautiful Child

Beautiful, beautiful child, my sweet little red headed girl, you travel through this life and world like a top all awhirl.
Holding you as a babe, you slept drawing sweet baby breaths, and my heart you enslaved.
Tough as nails, as a mother, is what I tried to be, but most of the time you always saw through me.
Watching you grow into the woman you've become, has been the toughest road I've ever traveled upon.
Mistakes that you've made, watching the drama and pain enfold, but you've managed to live through them becoming stronger, and finally allowing the flower that is you to unfold.
The path you walk now, is one that is right and true , your recovery will not be a lonely one, as your true heart and love will one day find you.
Peace, love, and trust encircle you like an atom with its inner and outer light, from the love of the father, your family, and the ones you hold tight.
Beautiful, beautiful child, my sweet little red headed girl, fear not as you travel through this life and world all like a top all awhirl.
For never will I leave you, for in life and spirit I will be there, because this love I hold for you bridges time, space, and air, and through the years, as you lay your head down, I'll be there, always, to kiss my beautiful, beautiful child goodnight.
