Reflections on my life as I do from time to time - examining the past, the present, and the future

Poem Artwork

                      CLINGING  AND LETTING  GO

As I cling to my possessions
And realize all my obsessions
I give myself many suggestions
For letting go to a fulfilled life

I have seen my children, grand-
children, and great grandchildren
come to fruitation. Life indeed
has no limitations.

As my fruit ripens on the vine,
should I continue to cling, or
should I drop softly upon the
moist ground and produce yet
another round.

Is there not something better
awaiting
Should I put aside my fainting?
or should I to my Creator,
surrender, and go joyfully and
in wonder into another world.

Ahhh little Flower, there is always more to do and see until your day comes. You have yet to experience great great grandchildren and I offer my wish that you may one day smile to see your first.
Hugs,
Fee

I can understand. Each one of us ask this question at some time or the other. Take life as it comes. Ignore the ignorables. There is always something new to learn, something of interest around each of us. I respect you for your honesty in word.
