THE ROSE AND THE ROCK
Some people are roses
Some people are rocks
I think of myself as a rose
Why? Simply because of
St Therese of The Little Flower
And The Blessed Virgin Mary
whose order (Carmel) I
belong to
I attempt to model myself
in their image and
it is not an easy thing to do
The rock is the symbol of
strength and steadfastness
never changing and
will be forever
Jesus is my rock
