A tense tale to spook you!

The HOO: The Witch’s Brew The house atop the Hill was Haunted its crooked towers stark against the full orange Moon A pitch black sky engulfed them and everybody knew... The old old lady who lived on the Hoo - but they simply called it The Witch’s Brew. Once a year every year hideous demons invaded her flooding in with the 4 great winds to scale the rocky brae Whilst warlocks and wizards rivaled casting their spells along the way... Gurgles and shrills and looks that kill running up and down the evil hill better known as... the Hoo. Gargoyles and vampires battled some of them even flew leaving their own abodes to invade The Witch’s Brew. It was horrific those blood curdling screams! from bats and rats and bewitched black cats that emerged from the muddy stream. Grotesquely- morphed new creatures too terrifying to even look upon now the old old woman fled from them all as stumbling she began to run... Screaming down the Hoo - shouting Somebody get the priest! When suddenly a bell rang jolting her from sleep - and there stood The Hordes surrounding her... This is a great halloween poem! I was engrossed in the frightening ghouls coming closer when she suddenly woke to a quite different scene--the fun and frolic of children all dressed up for trick or treat!
I read this at halloween time, but didn't post then. You are indeed Spookie, Mrs. Galizia, and you have a few surprises up the sleeves of your nighty!
