One Mans Doom!

A favorite quote of mind has always been,

“One mans doom is another’s salvation.

For it has not only to do with a mans need to sin

But also his ability to confess and receive God’s revelation.

For tragedy exists all around us every day of our life

If we are drawn into it’s horrible snare

We will find ourselves overcome with such strife

That we will surely think there is nobody to care

If we live or we die, if we hurt or we our life is sublime.

We will find ourselves caught up in the woes and despair.

However, we learn to accept the troubles of our time

By laying them on God for he is always there.

He loves us in spite of our own lack of love for one another

When tragedy strikes it is an opportunity for me

To help renew the faith and the life of a brother

So when the days seem dark and filled with strife

Look for the sunshine and remember the rain

Brings not only destruction but most times it brings life

Help your brother and when you do you will grow as you minister to his pain

You both will be made stronger and able to cope with whatever life may bring.

You and your brother can then proudly sing

To the creator of all, who works all things for good of those who believe

And even your heartaches his love will relieve.
