Let Not your Passion Fade

There is no greater love than a man should lay down his life for others

There is no greater gift that anyone could possible give

By doing so, Jesus Christ paved the way for us all, sisters and brothers.

Because he died at Calvary it is made possible for us to live

Not just upon this mortal earth but also for eternity.

For by hanging on the Cross he paid the price for the sins of you and me.

And if we truly love our lord for the wonderful price he paid

We will proclaim him as our Lord for in Gods’ eyes our sins have undone.

We will not let our fires of love burn out or begin to fade.

But stand proudly and announce to all that Jesus is Gods’ Son.

We will love him with all our hearts and minds and all our souls forever.

For we know that his great love for us will never ever cease.

He went away to prepare a place for us somewhere on Heavens shore.

And if he went, he shall return and take us there to live in eternal peace.

So do not let the cares and worries of this world bring you down

Lift up your voices high my friend, sing praises that never cease.

For our God loves a cheerful heart and doesn’t like a frown.

When our eyes first are laid upon the beauty of the heavenly coast

And when you and I hear the Angels sing

We will become a part of God’s own Heavenly host.

And then forever after the heavens will surely ring

With praises to Lord our God and Jesus, our king.
