Do not judge me my Friend!

Do not judge me, my friend for if you do so

You are judging yourself more than you know.

If our beliefs vary from one another as we live

This does not mean we have nothing to give.

We do have the love of our Lord and his Son.

And when we accept him our journey has begun.

We must dwell on things in common we share.

We should not fall into the trap where we point and stare

At a brother who does did not come to Jesus in the same way

For the roads that lead him to our lord may have been through clouds of gray.

If we cast judgment and do not attempt to understand his heart and soul

We are the ones who have not yet reached our spiritual goal.

That is to love and to give of ourselves through his holy name.

For it was by love that to Earth our Lord Jesus Christ came.

Try, therefore to understand and be slow to criticize

For if you judge your brother this could lead to your demise.

Let your faith ring out like a bell by the way that you live

And do not cast judgment but never fail to give.

Give to your brother from your heart love that’s pure

For one day, you shall find yourself standing at Heavens door.

And when you do, I pray you will know God’s wonderful grace.

As he looks back ore your life, your footsteps, he’ll trace.

He will see the times you have forgiven others

He will welcome you in to meet with heavenly brothers.
