When I was growing up, we told there was a Communist behind every bush. We were taught the duck and cover method thing in school. In case of an ever impending atomic attack get under your desk and cover your eyes. The attack never came and the Communists are no more. This generation is watching for terrorists. This is good. We need to watch for them. But, what if your looking in all the wrong places and overlooking those who terrorize our youth?

Do You Fear Them? There are those who would have us fear terrorists But I ask you to consider this. A terrorist can be anybody for they walk within our mists. The guy who speeds past you going way over the speed limit He is a terrorist, too. The person who loses his temper and strikes his wife He is a terrorist, too. The man or woman who cares not that there are children at play as they drive, endangering their life They are terrorists, too. A terrorist does not necessarily use bombs, guns or fly planes into buildings that are tall. They can be more subtle and simply live heartless lives, following no conscience at all. They care not for anyone but themselves, their own desires to appease. If they cause danger to another, they have become one of these. A terrorist can be your next door neighbor, you see. They could even be you or me. Let us live our lives knowing the love of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Then the true terrorist of them all will be defeated, his hatred cut with God�s holy sword. Satan has no power over us that we do not give him of our own free will. Are you relinquishing that power to him? Does he control you life still? I pray you are drawing from the power of a wonderful God who loves us every one. A love that is reflected through Jesus who hung on that cross till our battle was won. He won it for you and me. He paid the price for our many sins. He who accepts the gift is the person who finally wins. Heaven is waiting. Are you ready to see it?

Hi Lew, this is a powerful write and reminder to all of us. Are we ready to face Heaven? "Let us live our lives knowing the love of Jesus Christ, our Lord.Then the true terrorist of them all will be defeated, his hatred cut with God�s holy sword." That is powerful!

LEW, I often wondered how many of those people were ready. How many were caught with there work undone. We must be ready when He comes.
The enemy is always ready to rob, kill and destroy. A life of Christ is our greatest reward. Great worship this morning.

Superb offering, Lew! Terrorists are in our midst at all times..though they may not be labeled as such.

'Satan has no power over us that we do not give him of our own free will' How very true! This is why we must surrender our entire being - even breath and heartbeat - unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ,
and "flee the very appearance of evil!"
