About That Dogwood

This is not something that I simply thought would be beautiful to write. It is about three plants in our front yard. Death became life and life begets life. It seems our Dogwood is truly a symbol of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God in all his wisdom shows himself in so many ways that it is a shame that any man could fail to see him and his love.

About That Dogwood

Something I had not noticed until today.

I told about the Dogwood tree, which we thought had gone away.

It came back and sprouted with beauty, luster and elegance.

Today I noticed something more, this story to enhance.

In the corner of our yard now grows another Dogwood tree.

In the opposite corner of the yard grows another that I see.

Where we once had one Dogwood, now it seems that we have three.

I mentioned the Dogwood was symbolic of Jesus hanging on the cross.

He came to save you and me and all those who were lost.

If the Dogwood was symbolic before today it is even more so now.

It shows us that the resurrection of our savior is imparted to us somehow.

The Dogwood died and rose up from the dead again.

Now it has a church of followers who will stand with it till the end.

However the end is not really the end for it is the new beginning for all.

I see Jesus coming through the clouds with the trumpets mighty call.

Our little church of Dogwoods is steadily growing every day.

I pray that it will keep growing in every possible way.

I also pray that we have become followers of our Lord.

He is the one who freely died for us, the one who deserves to be adored.

It is no fable after all. It is a blessing from our Almighty Father.
Your back yard must be a wonderful place to pray. Grow Dogwoods grow.
