We carry the sorrow that Jesus has died

But we also show forth a light that we should not attempt to hide.

His death paid the price for the sins of man

Sins of yesteryear and also today for he does understand.

We are hard pressed but we are not crushed.

We are perplexed but our praises to him are not hushed.

We are struck down but we are not annoyed

We carry the body of Jesus till he returns because his forgiveness we have enjoyed.

The power of God will lift our souls high when our mortal body has died.

We shall sup with our lord and with him abide.

Eternity will be our fate and joy with no end.

This is why we have faith that no one can offend.
