We pray to God to give us faith but it proves to be elusive.

We search for it and seek for it but it can be evasive.

Why is this thing called faith such a slippery thing to keep?

Could it be that it seems to escape our hearts during sad times when we weep?

Faith is a beautiful thing to know and it is a wonderful goal for our soul.

We must keep in mind that true and unconditional faith is an elusive, slippery goal.

True faith overcomes all and that means it is worthy of giving a wide berth.

For it sees through this life to what will come when our life is done on Earth.

Let not your faith become something which you find you would eschew.

If you grow in faith in God it will guide you each day that you live through.

The definition of Elusive means to elude capture, perception or comprehension.

Faith challenges all Earthly knowledge about God’s son and his Holy passion.
