Murder, rape and inhumane selfishness seem to pervade our Earth.

Air pollution and uncontrolled weather systems diminish the worlds worth.

Sometimes it seems if there were no bad news there would be news at all.

We helplessly stand and watch as nations are born and then too quickly fall.

We seem to take comfort that this, we say can never happen here.

The sad truth is that if we take it for granted we soon will have no cheer.

As nations have risen only to fall again through out all of history.

We should be always aware that we too could fall.  It is a grave possibility.

Let us remember that the flag flies for us one and all

For if it does not do so for each of us, we too can fall.

Let us not become so proud that we cease to try to learn.

Always watch and always question but your neighbor you should not spurn.

News is what we all make it to be so if it comes evil it is a reflection

That we as a people share in the making thereof, a nation going in the wrong direction.
