I walk alone in solitude down a peculiar path called life.
What path is this which I now follow; so unfamiliar and full of strife?
It twists and turns and I lose my way in this unfamiliar trail.
Yet with each step I take I find something new of which I tell a tale.
How lonely I have felt as I walked alone with only his voice to hear.
A voice I once found unknown but now take comfort because I know he’s near.
It is odd that I would find myself in this bizarre new territory.
I walk the path that is singular but the unfamiliar is my story.
I walk alone in solitude or so I thought I did.
The oddest thing about my trip is I now walk where Jesus led.
I wonder at each new sight I see; though they be queer I see no danger.
All of life is estranged to me but death is all the stranger.
