They scoff and grumble, “If there be a God then why?

Why does he allow killing, wars and child abuse; things he should deny?

They decide that this God is an imaginary being.

Even though they see all his creation they look without seeing.

God has answered but they listened not because they wanted not to admit

It was not God who fought wars or mistreated others in an angry fit.

We are called human but we are not always humane.

So I ask who we think we are that we question his domain.

From that day in the Garden of Eden when they did eat of the fruit

Man has gained free will and God’s way he doth repute.

Blame it on God if that is your wish but you make a huge mistake.

Trust in him and there is a better life of which we can partake.
