The quest for immortality can off times lead us astray.

Too often we dwell on putting stars in our crown as we live from day to day.

If you ever truly listened to the words of Our Lord; God’s own son

Then you must understand that immortality cannot be earned when all is said and done.

For all have fallen short of the grace of God and all have sinned and failed at one time or another.

It matters not if it was what we did or sins of omissions; times when we could have helped our Sister and brother.

So when we come to Jesus Christ we must be willing to pray to him in this way.

“Lord me merciful to me a sinner and wash my sins away.

Salvation cannot be earned it is a gift from our Heavenly Father given freely to you and me.

Our prayers for his forgiveness are a seed planted in the soil and Salvation comes growing into a tree.

The tree of life is a growing thing and we must grow along with it.

For God knows our successes and our failures and he will not forget.

Trust in him and love him.  That is what Salvation is all about.

Believe in him and love him truly and eternity will come without a doubt.
