What is yesterday? A better and more correct way of asking is, “What was yesterday?”

What is today? What will tomorrow be? We live each day for it is a gift.

Poem Artwork

My yesterdays may be full of great dreams come true .

They may also be built with flawed material because of things I say or do.

What of today, then.  Is it doomed to be a reflection of all my yesterdays?

If I try; I can mend my yesterdays by changing my ways?

Then tomorrow when today becomes yesterday

I can honestly feel fulfilled because tomorrow will be a better today.

We all have the wonderful capacity to mend our lives and make them better.

We dot an 'I' or change a word.  We change a sentence and add a letter.

Dwell not on mistakes of yesterday for they can be repaired today.

We can learn from yesterday and bough our heads as we quietly pray.

Would we change our yesterday?  We dwell on the good and leave the bad.

Yesterday is a day which we can feel grateful that we had.

Now we deal with another day and following this still another.

We should live to improve our ability to love sister and brother.

Be grateful for the joys of each and every day we live.

Learn to love and freely to give.

There is so much in your poem - yesterday, today, tomorrow. For each, we have to answer to God - did we learn to love and freely to give? These two ideas are the cornerstone of what God wants for us.

God bless you for such an inspirational poem,
Kathy
