When I was young I feared the lord for his condemnation seemed severe.

Though I attended church and tried to live for him his love did not seem near.

As I grew older I learned more of my Master and his infinite capacity for forgiveness.

He magnified my spiritual strength and led me to deliverance.

His love for me was there all along but alas as a youth I did not see it.

His love was founded by his Son, Jesus Christ and delivered by the Holy Spirit.

Now I look back upon my life and wonder why I failed see

A love that placed Jesus on the cross to die for sinners like me.

His love has delivered me from myself and also from cares of this world today.

For he guides me through each day and shows me his wondrous way.

His love will guide me to Heavens doors and his forgiveness is the key.

Look for his goodness and mercy and you, too will surely find you see.
