Let's celebrate

Poem Artwork

Once a year we celebrate Thanksgiving.

We realize how grateful we are for the life we’re living.

Thankfulness is a frame of mind and a show of faith and gratitude.

Once a year we show an appreciative attitude.

This is a time to set aside our worries and disappointment.

It’s a time for turkey with family and a time for enjoyment.

I ask this question of anyone who can make this clear.

Why do we celebrate only once a year?

Why do we not celebrate every day as Thanksgiving Day?

We could keep a positive attitude all year long that way.

Let us begin with this wondrous celebration.

Let us thank God above for the love of our nation.

Here, here!! I agree completely with your message, like Christmas, that same feeling of Goodwill should be continued as should the thankfulness of Thanksgiving.

Well put, and let's not forget to prey for all those who got a pink slip in lieu a gravy boat.

Why not, indeed. And Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Lew,

Truer words were never spoken and said so eloquently.

Mavis asked, "Am I a ghost again? I don't remember being a ghost, but I know I was." Do you believe in reincarnation?
