In my more than sixty-years of living

I have learned a little something about giving

If in all my years I wanted something I had never before possessed

I had to first do something I had never done, some accomplishment I had not yet addressed

God was not punishing me when he took something away

He was simply housecleaning to make room for something new that day

The will of God will always guide you but not always where you expect he will lead

He  will not lead where his grace will not protect  you, so you truly did not  want to go there, indeed

So trust in God and accept what ere’ life may bring your way

And follow the Father and his Son, Jesus as you live each day.
