The highway to Heaven is not paved with depression
Though you may live through days of despair or woe
If you build your life upon faith and conviction
You will find the gloominess may come but will soon go
The means with which you will soon overcome those times of hopelessness
Is called prayer, the instrument of faith that brings about exhilaration
A personal conversation with Jesus creates true happiness
For it is the sharing of love with God in true devotion
It will replace melancholy with cheerfulness and contentment
To pray is a wonderful and fulfilling instrument
Which keeps us in tune with God
