Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.-Corinthians 1:2

Our Heavenly Father first gave to us life and with it free will

However we used it to sin and death was the bill

Then our Heavenly father in benevolence sent to us his son

Through his teachings and his death on the cross our salvation was won

His presence envelopes us with forgiveness and love

When we are faced with trouble we need only to pray to God above

If we but believe his blessings are always near

His love covers us each one and those we hold dear

Though we do not always see him here

Because we know his love we have nothing to fear

Not even death!
