They are two sides of the same coin

And each day, nay several times each day we flip that coin

We flip it by decisions we make and the friends we join

With each flip of the coin we take a chance

It could bring us sorrow or it may create advance

They say we have the power to grasp happiness

This I believe to be true but we can also create stress

The best advice I can give my friend is to flip it and see

And whatever the coin shows make it the best it can be

You do have the power to create a frame of mind

That will be inclined to embellish the best of what you find

The pleasure comes easy for this is what you desire

To find joy in painful situations, for that faith is required

Faith in the father who gave us that coin to spend

But it came with both sides

Enjoy and endure till the end
