King David drew confidence in the Heavenly Father

He cried out for guidance when challenged by worldly bother

He found his faith led to recovery when he was discouraged

God’s presence was source of spirit and courage

He was made brave when doubt seemed to prevail

He found when he followed the word of God he would not likely fail

We can all learn from his story of the right way to live

It is not so much what you receive that makes you better but what you give

And most important when you come before God do so with sincerity

For he sent his son, Jesus Christ for our salvation a show of his sincerity
