*There is an age old idiom my father used to say* *“It is water over the dam. If you let it go, it will float away* *Learn from your mistakes then let them go and they’ll float out to sea* *And be washed clean in an ocean of forgiveness for all eternity* *Let God’s Holy Spirit carry your sins away* *Just bow you head and search you heart and never fail to pray* *Forgiveness comes from those who love and those who care for you* *If they can find it in themselves to forgive, then you should forgive, too* *Don’t let your mistake cause you to fall for God’s loving grace is true* *He has forgiven many of our mistakes and he will forgive you*
