Is there anything or anyone that can make you feel excitement?
Do you feel a craving for someone enough to make a lifetime commitment?
Is there a deed that you have dedicated yourself to its fulfillment?
Is there an anger that you harbor or deep ingrained resentment?
These are all a form of passion. Some create and some can cause destruction
Let your passion be a hunger for love and a deep dedication
For this is a passion built upon what is productive and on positive ambition
Let your passion turn not to wrath or to things that are not productive
But rather let your craving be for an attitude and thoughts that or supportive
Passion comes in many forms both physical and emotional
It encompasses desire, and appetite, lust and of course adoring love
My greatest desire is to love my neighbor and spread the good news of my Lord
Jesus Christ showed the greatest passion when he was hung upon the cross
For if not for his impassioned deed all our futures would be for loss
