As I deliberate on how my salvation came to be
I am made aware that it was God who first reached for me
In truth the whole world had turned away
We followed our own lusts and found it hard to obey
Every being on this sinful planet followed our own selfish passions
Our Heavenly father saw our sinful traditions
And it was he who sent his son to show us the way
For he knew there were still those who would follow and obey
The cost of the sinful lives we lived was our downfall
Jesus hung on the cross and thereby paid for them all
When he rose up again after three days
He called to us to change our sinful ways
He said, “My Father is offering your redemption if you follow me
You have been blind to his ways but he would have you see”
Know his love and pass it on and your salvation thus is won
Accept this as a gift freely given for you to receive
It could not be earned so be you not deceived
Accept his pardon and pass it on to others
Show Agape love to your sisters and brothers
Amen
