When we're kids it means presents under the tree and time off of school but even then we knew whose birthday we celebrated.

*What is Christmas?* *December twenty-fifth, Christmas day is coming before long* *It is a day we celebrate with festivity and song* *We all look forward to presents under the tree* *Ham and turkey dinners, rejoicing and jubilee* *Please let us not forget whose birthday we celebrate* *It’s Jesus Christ who died for whose birth we commemorate* *Let us not use an X in place of Christ Jesus, our Lord and savior* *He who died for us to save us from our sinful behavior* *Let us keep Jesus Christ as a major part of the Christmas celebration* *Let us sing and dance and praise his name in jubilation* *Merry CHRISTmas!*

This devine poem was right on. We are not rejoicing for the birth of the Christ child. Everything is to commercial and has lost it's true meaning. In my humble opinion.
