*Send what you will oh evil one for God’s spirit dwells within me* *No Earthly comforts can give to me such joy and ecstasy* *Earthly treasure will soon wane but God’s love is eternal and priceless* *Though you send poverty or illness my way I will not give in to stress* *You prophecy devastation and promote hatred and iniquity* *But Jesus Christ has shown me the way to live eternally* *I will not bow before you and your wicked ways of sin* *For Jesus Christ has opened the golden door and beckoned me to walk in* *I love my Lord with all my heart and soul because he first loved me* *For when he hung upon that cross he set my enslaved soul free* *So send my way what you will but I will not betray his wondrous love* *I will accept the grief that you may send my way and I will rise above* *The Holy Spirit comforts me and gives me strength that on my own I cannot boast* *I will press on each day to do his will for he is my Lord and my host* *Amen*
