A bird soars high above the earth held there on extended wing
Needless to say he has a bird’s eye view of the earth and everything
 
Alas, my body cannot fly but my spirit does soar above
Though I have no wings for flight I am held high by God and Jesus Christ’s glorious love
 
He fills my heart and mind with the comfort of the Holy Spirit
Causing me to sing out loud and joyfully for all to hear it
 
I praise him when I greet the morning sunrise
While rubbing the sleep from these woozy eyes
 
At night I go to sleep, resting under his watchful eye
On the morrow I will once more awaken with a sigh
 
One day I shall shuck this limited body and fly away
To live forever with my master on Heavens shore where I will stay

"In Flight" what a great faith of hope to keep, knowing that there comes a day, when we'll fly away with Christ Jesus to a place where there won't be anymore sorrows and woes. Praise Him! praise Him! Oh hallelujah! Blessings.
