*I thank you, Lord for you have seen to give me your loving grace* *For I am simply lowly man whose imperfection is hard to face* *I praise you that you sent your only son, Jesus to come to this planet Earth* *For only because he paid the price of my sin can I obtain any worth* *As the apostle Paul once wrote, “Oh sinner that I am, who is there who will save me?”* *My salvation was bought for me when Jesus Christ was hung upon that tree* *He was ridiculed and punished though he was perfect and this is how salvation came to me* *I sing praises and glorify your name because you showed for me such love* *It was those imperfect ones like me for whom he was lifted up above* *“My Father,” I pray. “I bare my soul to thee and I confess to thee”* *“And I pray this prayer with humility for the love you show for me”*
