If I try too hard to try to be what others think I should be Nine times out of ten I will not be me; I mean the me I wish to be But if I am honest about whom I am my friends will surely see And more likely they will learn to like and respect the he who is truly me I will also have the luxury of simply being who I am, and honestly I need not try to live up to expectations of the one that I should be And when I bow before my Lord I always will be sure of the me that he will see
